Welcome to the Ghahari Lab
The Ghahari Lab is an experimental condensed matter physics laboratory at George Mason University. Our research is centered on engineering and understanding correlated phases and novel excitations in low dimensional materials with a focus on layered materials and heterostructures. We characterize devices in the quantum limit by a combination of electrical transport, thermodynamics, and scanning probe microscopy measurements.
